HELPFUL INFORMATION

Questions You May Be Asking

If you are wondering whether Your Next Chapter Journey is right for you, these answers may help you understand the journey and decide how you would like to begin.

1. Who is Your Next Chapter for?

It is for women navigating change, questioning what comes next or sensing that there may be more ahead. You do not need to have answers — only a willingness to pause, reflect and begin where you are.

2. How is this different from other “next chapter” books and programmes?

Most approaches tell people to become someone new i.e. reinvention or creating a best self. This YNC Journey helps people discover and build on the strengths, experiences and gifts they already have, so they can move forward with confidence, purpose and hope. And if you do not yet know your strengths, experiences or gifts, you will find them on this journey.

Your Next Chapter Journey does not centre on reinvention or offer a self-help formula. It is a restoration journey: becoming rooted in God, being led by His Spirit and aligning your life with His purposes. Rather than treating past chapters as wasted or broken (and hence, the need for reinvention), it helps you see how God can gather what you have lived and use it as you move forward (i.e. restoration). Unlike other approaches, a four-fold cord of Biblical wisdom, cognitive science, guided reflection and room for joy support this process.

Very importantly, this YNC Journey is not based on the belief that people need a new identity. Rather, we believe that people need support to return to, uncover and cultivate the identity God has already given them. Our core differentiator is that we facilitate a Spirit-led, guided restoration journey rather than self-led self-discovery, self-help or reinvention.

4. Why is Your Next Chapter Journey Christian and not secular?

Dr Eguara experienced restoration through her Christian faith and sensed God leading her to create a journey centred on discerning His purposes, rather than choosing a purpose apart from Him. To guide others authentically, she shares a path she has travelled and continues to travel.

5. Where should I begin?

6. Can I complete this journey at my own pace?

Yes. You can work through Your Next Chapter: Rise Into More at your own pace. The Journal helps you reflect more deeply, while the YNC Circle offers community, encouragement and support in putting what you are learning into practice.

You may also journey with a friend or group. Each person should have their own copies of the books and their own
YNC Circle membership so that their reflections remain personal and authentic.

12. Is one-to-one or group support available?

Yes. A limited number of one-to-one and group coaching places will soon be available for women seeking more personalised support. These will be facilitated by Dr Oma Eguara. Coaching is separate from YNC Circle membership and will carry an additional fee. You are invited to join the waitlist to be notified when places open.

7. How long does the journey take?

There is no fixed timetable. The journey is designed to be taken thoughtfully, Movement by Movement. One Movement per week works well for many people, but you can pause when needed and continue when you are ready.

8. Will I have to speak or share personal information in the YNC Circle?

No. You can participate in the way that suits you. You may join conversations, share reflections or simply be present with other women. There is no pressure to perform or disclose personal experiences.

9. Is Your Next Chapter Journey therapy or counselling?

No. Your Next Chapter Journey is a faith-rooted restoration journey offering education, reflection and community. It is not therapy, counselling or a substitute for professional mental-health care.

10. Is the YNC Circle free to join?

No. Membership is approximately £10 per month, helping to support the cost of running the community.
The YNC Circle is currently hosted on a platform which processes membership payments in US dollars, so the exact amount charged in pounds may vary slightly with the exchange rate.

11. Can I join the YNC Circle without the books?

To take part in the YNC Journey, you will need Before Your Next Chapter, which is free and prepares you to begin. You will also need Your Next Chapter: Rise Into More, as it provides the journey map we follow together. Your Next Chapter: The Journal is helpful but optional.

3. Do I need to be a Christian?

The journey is rooted in the Christian faith and Scripture — the Bible. You do not need to be a Christian or know the Bible well, but you should be open to engaging with God, exploring what Scripture says and considering what He may be revealing in this season.
